Knobelsdorf has a unique location, far removed from all the hustle and bustle. 😊 The best way to reach it by bicycle is via the small but charming mountain road from the Saale Valley. On foot, you should definitely try the well-marked and very pleasant bee-themed hiking trails. There must be a passionate and talented woodcarver living in Knobelsdorf. I don't know his name or address, but you can find his works in and around Knobelsdorf. The beautiful children's playground in the village and the Baba Jaga Hut, not far from Knobelsdorf, are particularly noteworthy. Simply wonderful. The hiking trail from Knobelsdorf up to Rabenhügel (Raven's Hill) is very beautiful, offering a fantastic view over the Thuringian Forest and the Saale-Holzland region. Railway hikers can easily reach Knobelsdorf from Kaulsdorf or Breternitz.
