Apart from the raised embankment, unfortunately not much else can be seen. A shelter offers protection and a place to rest.

All country tours are approximately 20 to 30 km long, run along low-traffic or car-free routes, and are designed to invite you to explore or rediscover the diverse landscape of the Trave-Land district, far from the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the rolling hills of Holstein Switzerland, along picturesque lakes that invite you to swim, through enchanted deciduous forests and through idyllic villages to stately manor houses and, every now and then, country inns that invite you to rest. Nature lovers will especially get their money's worth, as many routes lead through or near nature reserves. Since some of the paths are unpaved, bicycle tires should not be too narrow.

In 2011, the Trave-Land District Office developed five cycling routes – country outings – for the district for the Segeberg Regional Exhibition (Regio-Schau). Under the motto "Experience the Trave-land District Office," these suggested routes are intended to invite visitors to the region, as well as residents of our district, to "experience" the idyllic landscape of the district. The overwhelming and positive response has encouraged us to continue this initiative. Many cyclists have provided us with valuable suggestions for improving the routes. Thanks to these tips, the public relations team was able to revise the cycling tours according to the wishes of cycling enthusiasts.
