You should definitely bring sturdy shoes and some spirit of adventure if you want to walk this path. The path is partly overgrown beyond recognition, but since there is only water on the left and right, you really can't get lost. Watch out for beaver passages and holes if you want to get to the other bank with dry feet. I assume that the path is only accessible in the winter months, since in summer it seems to be completely overgrown. A special tip: the sunsets from the lake shore are really spectacular!
