"Twisted Peek," which could be translated as "Twisted Peek" or "Twisted View," is far less abstract than other works on the "Purple Path" and is even practically usable. The wooden observation platform, which is about six meters high, can be used as a viewing platform. However, to reach it, one must not only walk almost a kilometer from Weidenweg on the edge of town, but also climb a flight of stairs. The location on the hiking trail towards Erlbach-Kirchberg offers beautiful panoramic views and a connection to the Sachsenring racetrack. This connection was something "Purple Path" curator Alexander Ochs definitely wanted to establish. "I'll also be watching a race," assured the art expert, who was inspired to create the artwork by images of the daring Sachsenring observation platforms from previous decades. The color yellow was chosen because it also shines on the ADAC tower at the Sachsenring and on the colorful Chemnitz chimney. Both are visible from "Twisted Peek." https://www.blick.de/zwickau/kunst-mit-treppe-und-sachsenring-blick-oberlungwitz-ist-jetzt-teil-des-purple-path-artikel14074354

The main building of the three-sided farmstead (a combined residential and stable building) was built around 1846, the two outbuildings in 1904. The combined residential and stable building is particularly impressive with its large, baroque-style mansard roof. The elaborate timber framing is partially exposed and partially clad in slate. Nearby stands the Gränitz Linden tree, named after the farm, a prominent landmark. https://www.stadt-lugau.de/webs/index.php?id=149

The artwork "Twisted Peek" (komoot translated it, no idea why) is accessible. It's a small tower on a hill, offering a good panoramic view. Access by bicycle is somewhat difficult. The best way to get there is via a farm track from Oberlungwitz. From the Kohleradeweg (coal cycle path), it's a hilly detour. However, the view of the surrounding area is beautiful, making it a good option for hikes.
