There is a small trail down from the Lederer Kopf which is fun but nothing special and the view at the top is unfortunately not that special either.

The Marienberg is marked with signs on both sides of the hiking trail, but there is actually nothing to see except trees. But it is still a beautiful place and the highest point.

It's a wide forest path - not a single track. However, there are some Very coarse gravel in the steep sections of the path - so caution doesn't hurt.

In the fall of 2002, the parish of Eberschwang began planning the 1100th anniversary celebrations. After Mr. Buchinger's initial request that the parish build a model of the baptismal church of the time for the parade, the parish council decided to create something permanent by building a replica of the church as a chapel. At the beginning of November, the right place was found on the edge of the forest in Albertsham. In cooperation with Franz Buchinger, the archaeologist Wolfgang Klimesch and the planner of the chapel, Alois Doblinger, the planning work for the chapel began immediately. With the construction of the baptistery, a lasting gem was created in a scenic setting. In the future, it should invite people to visit and linger and become a place of stillness and inner contemplation. And it will always commemorate the 1100 year anniversary of the market town of Eberschwang. The blessing of the "Historic Baptistery" took place on Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 9:00 am.
