The Taiskirchen reservoir is located on the district borders of Ried, Schärding and Grieskirchen. You can celebrate, camp and grill at the lake. The Taiskirchen rural youth festival, which is popular and well-known in the Innvietel, takes place in June. The reservoir area is also often used for other events such as motorcycle meetings. Fixed tripod grills are available for smaller barbecue parties. Two footbridges invite you to spend romantic hours. Walks around the lake are also very nice. Camping and barbecuing is free at the designated sites, but reservations are required. In winter the lake is ideal for ice skating and curling.
