The "Enzianhütte" is always worth a hike! You can sit outside with a beautiful panoramic view, it's also very cozy inside, and the hosts are very friendly. The onward route via the "Mauthner Alm" to the "Untere Valentinalm" is magnificent; the view of the "Polinik," into the "Gailtal," to the "Reißkofel"... is spectacular! However, it should be dry for this.

This trail is described as easy in the Komoot app. In my opinion, that's not true. The trail markings on site are red, and rightly so. Surefootedness is definitely required, as well as good fitness, since you already had to hike up from Lamprechtbauer.

A beautiful hike with fantastic views. We climbed through the forest (due to the sun) and took the grassy slope on the way back. We did the hike with our children (6 and 9). The steep path through the forest wasn't easy.
