The Keltenbaumkreis was opened in June 2010. 39 trees (35 outside, four inside) are arranged in a circle. Outside, the following tree types occur twice: apple tree, fir, elm, cypress, cedar, pine, willow tree, linden, hazel, rowan, maple, walnut, chestnut, ash, hornbeam, trumpet tree. The poplar is found three times in the tree circle. Inside are a beech, an oak, a birch and a rock pear. Text on the information board: “This tree circle was created by the municipality of Attnang-Puchheim on the occasion of the Year of the Environment. Enjoy this beautiful park and get to know the different trees. Since the Celts in our area were sedentary and had a special relationship to trees, the tree circle was built in the style of the Celts. Each tree represents a date of birth like the horoscope and the positive properties are listed on the donor boards. However, these properties should not be taken so seriously as their accuracy has not been proven. [...] " Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keltisches_Baumhoroskop

Puchheim Castle is a well-preserved Renaissance complex with a striking gate tower. It has been a Redemptorist monastery since 1851. The Georg chapel is open to the public. The 5-aisled pilgrimage basilica (today parish church) was consecrated in 1890. A stone bridge over a moat connects the castle building with the front castle (farmyard). The music school, the tower gallery, the Maximilianhaus educational center and the parish center of the parish Maria Puchheim are located here.
