At the Tiroler Steinöl Vitalberg (Tiroler Steinöl Vitalberg), the shale oil museum in Pertisau, visitors learn all about the extraction and processing of Tiroler Steinöl. Due to its close proximity to the Karwendel Nature Park, the town is a good starting point for wonderful hikes or mountain bike tours. A beautiful path through a wonderful forest that offers some protection from the rain and shade. The path of reflection seems to be a bit dated. It has some very beautiful elements, such as the Hand of God, but also some old wooden plaques that are no longer very legible. So, for me, the path through the forest and the sometimes stunning views were the main attraction, not necessarily the path of reflection, especially since I don't agree with every statement on the wooden plaques.
