This boardwalk provides access down to the bay and also connects to another service road in the Tivoli Bays Wildlife Management Area. This a beautiful wooded section of trail that is surrounded by a swampy wetland environment.

There is a cool waterfall here just off the side of the trail. The water levels in the creek obviously vary depending on the time of year and how much recent rainfall there has been, but there is always some sort of cascade going.

With a visitor center, gift shop, and many gardens to go along with the multiple walking trails and paths, the Clermont Historic Site is said to be an unmissable landmark in the Germantown area of New York. The trails aren't marked very well, but they are well-maintained, and they none of them are super long. You can spend hours here reading the informational signs and looking at the beautiful gardens on the mansion's property along the Hudson River.

The trail leading to the Saugerties Lighthouse crosses a handful of boardwalks and bridges while navigating the wetlands separating the dry shore from the lighthouse. The trail is easy to follow and open every day from sun-up to sun-down.
