Altogether this trail runs for about 3.5 miles of boardwalk and stone dust footing. You'll find some spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Hockanum River — and some wetlands just off the trail. There is an effort under way to unite all the pieces of Hockanum River Linear Park into a contiguous trail, all the way from the river's headwaters to where it flows into the Connecticut River.
