Near the Mossel you will find the Valenberg viewpoint. In clear weather, you can see Radio Kootwijk, the Lana Maria mill in Harskamp, Jachtslot Sint Hubertus and Otterlo and Arnhem. The viewpoint is located on the cycle path in the northwest of the Planken Wambuis nature reserve. The various objects are indicated on an orientation table. Just before the Valenberg lookout tower lies a rolling heathland valley where horses, wild boar and roe deer occur, among others.
