This sulfur mineral spring is located in a nice gazebo in the spa park in Velké Losiny. Those who like sulfuric water at least a little will definitely like it.

The monument commemorates a dark period in the history of this city. Between 1679 and 1686, 38 people were burned here on false accusations of witchcraft. This event was also captured in Václav Kaplický's book The Witch's Hammer and in the film by Otakar Vávra.

The castle park was founded in 1602 as a Renaissance garden. In the 18th century, it was transformed into a baroque French park. At the beginning of the 19th century, it was rebuilt again in the form of an English landscape park. In 1531, the original water fortress was modified into a Renaissance castle by Jan the Younger from Žerotín. It was further expanded at the end of the 17th century with a Baroque two-story wing with arcaded corridors. The castle interiors are an imprint of the influence of times from the Renaissance to Classicism. During the visit, you have the opportunity to see the masterpieces of Italian, Flemish and Dutch painters living in the 17th and 18th centuries, the armory with a unique collection of rifles and pistols by leading masters of the field, or the knight's hall with a Renaissance coffered ceiling. An interesting fact is that this place became famous for the infamous witch trials, which inspired Václav Kaplický to write the book Kladivo na charodějnice. A park with the remains of baroque sculptural decoration stretches around.
