What a romantic spot, like something out of a fairy tale: A charming white wooden bridge leads to a tiny island in the lake, with a white seating area and flowering bushes.

The earlier owner of Baldersnäs, Carl Fredrik Waern, had a passionate interest in English parks that has had a very clear influence on the land surrounding the manor. Staying in the manor building, one of its wings, the annex or the newly built cottages, you can dream to the sounds of nature drifting in through your open window.

The path through the rocky landscape with a wide panoramic view is a real highlight. In wet weather, however, you should be careful on the lichen-covered rocks, as it can get very slippery.

A nice round walk along the lake and at the end you can relax and enjoy a coffee and a piece of cake, a small playground is nearby

The cabin itself is quite decent and has a fire pit both inside and outside. However, the toilet hut and the area next to the cabin looked pretty bad. Alternatively, just after the cabin—following a somewhat steep climb—there are a few very nice spots to pitch a tent.
