The Meléndez River Bio-Healthy Park is a one-kilometer linear park on the left bank of the river, in the El Ingenio neighborhood of Cali. It is part of the restoration of natural corridors between the Farallones Mountains and the Cauca River, featuring trails, a bike path, plazas, and sports equipment made from recycled plastic. It also includes the planting of native trees, pollinator plants, and exercise areas for all ages.

Very hot and windy, but with a beautiful view for photos while we cooled off from the climb.

Beautiful zoo located on the Rio Cali. The enclosures are embedded in tropical vegetation. There is also an aquarium with Amazon species. There are many information areas worth highlighting, where children can playfully acquire knowledge about the importance of fauna and flora for Colombia. Admission at 33,000 COP/adult = €7.50 high for Colombian standards, but worthwhile. I have never seen a white tiger anywhere else.
