The expansive sandy beach of North Bay is framed by sea defenses, an esplanade and scenic hills and cliffs. It offers a wilder vibe compared to the busier South Bay area.

It’s a fantastic piece of art and the conditions have weathered it.

Scarborough North Bay is a much bigger expanse of sand than the town's South Bay and has a much calmer feel to it. There are excellent views of the beach from Marine Drive and as you drop down from Queen's Parade. The water quality here is excellent and if the conditions are right its a great surf spot. To the south of North Bay you will see the ruins of Scarborough Caste, dating from the 11th century.
