Red deer and supposedly wolves live here and are regularly seen! Husbjerg is a 25 meter high dune on the southwestern edge of Kallesmærsk Hede. 25 meters doesn't sound like much - but here, in the middle of the flat, wide landscape, it almost feels like a mountain. ;)

The old Oksby church was demolished in 1891. It was built around 1450 here on Blåvandsvej in what is now Oksby Klitplantage. It was the last thatched church in Denmark. The old church is now marked as an outline in the protected cemetery. The church's old bell can also be found here.
