Tips from the Community

Lissy
April 27, 2026, Cascata de Água de Pau

The path to the waterfall is currently closed. There has been a landslide and two fallen trees are crossing the path. Going around them is child's play. The wooden path afterwards is however rather a danger, as it has partially collapsed. Hiking boots and sure-footedness are mandatory here! For attentive hikers, the path is doable. (April 2026)

At this point you will find the ruins of an old water mill that was used to generate energy. The building is now boarded up because it is dilapidated and should not be entered

At the end of the hiking trail you will come across a small waterfall. If you open the gate at the end you can see the waterfall directly.
