In front of the entrance to the castle and the castle hill itself, right in front of the ticket office, there is a terrace with benches and cannons. Beautiful large decorated cannons.

It was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, founded by Wenceslaus II, rebuilt by the last two Piasts. It had defensive and residential functions, it was a state prison, a place where the crown treasury was stored. On May 26, 1331, a congress of knights from all Polish lands took place at the foot of the hill. Destroyed during the Swedish wars. Restored and made available again in 2015.

The building was founded in 1368 by Casimir the Great. Built of broken stone, in the Gothic style. The monastery was destroyed during the deluge. After the dissolution of the monastery in the 19th century, it housed a prison, a municipal court, and later a hotel and a cocktail bar. The Franciscans returned in 1991. The chapel of St. Leonard from 1641.

In 1643, Primate Jan Wężyk approved the foundation of the Poor Clare monastery at the church of St. Maria Magdalena, funded by the mayor and city councillors. Built in the early Baroque style. The monastery complex consists of an oriented church and several buildings. After the removal of the Poor Clares, from 1930 the monastery was occupied by the Bernardine convent.

Founded at the beginning of the 14th century by Władysław Łokietek. A hall church with a slightly wider presbytery. Next to it is the Renaissance Chapel of the Three Kings. In the naves and the presbytery there are cross-barrel vaults. Renaissance stalls at the main altar.
