On the mountain slope above Lake Myczkowieckie in Solina, you can admire a huge heart made of bushes. The heart is a symbol of love between a Polish woman and an Indian who chose the Bieszczady Mountains as their place to live. However, the woman died, and her husband honored her memory and made a huge heart made of colorful bushes, visible from a distance. The location refers to the photo you took. The heart is on the other side of the lake. https://www.pap.pl/aktualnosci/bieszczady-ogromne-serce-nad-jeziorem-dla-zmarlej-zona-nasze-wideo

The waterfall on Olszanka is considered the widest in the entire region. This natural water level is 38 meters long, measured along the rock outcrops, from one bank to the other. Its height is quite impressive considering the conditions of the Bieszczady Mountains, as measured from the water surface it is between 2.5-3 m. The so-called "erosion pot", i.e. the depth at the foot of the waterfall, is very interesting. It is about 2 meters high. Of course, these data are averages, because the size of the waterfall depends on the water level. Once much larger, it was partially destroyed during the - literally - gigantic flood in 1981. Then the small river Olszanica, also called Olszanka, suddenly flooded its entire valley. The current was so strong that it destroyed everything along its way. Brick Greek Catholic branch church of St. Saint George (Jura) in Myczkowce was built in the years 1910-12 in the Ukrainian national style. It functioned as an Orthodox church until 1939 and was an access church to the parish in Bóbrka. During World War II, the Soviet army turned it into a cinema. After the war, it was turned into a grain warehouse for a nearby production cooperative. After the warehouse was closed down in 1956, the church was renovated and from 1957 the building served as a branch Roman Catholic church of the parish in Uherce. (...) The church is made of brick, its walls are made of brick, stone and plastered. The culmination is a spacious dome on the transept. The facility is covered with sheet metal. The original furnishings of the church have not survived. The polychrome was made in 1973 by Andrzej and Irena Chojkowscy. (...)
