Easy hikes and walks around gmina Urszulin

The Brzezinki Forest is located east of Lake Łukie, in the Poleski National Park. Going east, at the intersection of roads, there is a tourist shelter with tables and wooden benches, an ideal place to relax in the bosom of nature.

The viewing platform on the overgrowing Moszna Lake is located among peat pits - former peat excavation pits. We can observe cranes from above. Remember to watch out for lizards, grass snakes and the pit viper (which is poisonous), especially in the summer when we can see them basking in the sun.

The overgrowing Moszna Lake is the biggest attraction of the "Dominik" path. We can reach it via wooden footbridges that will take us right to the water. Part of the lake's surface is covered with a blanket of vegetation, the so-called they will weave. We can see plants such as insectivorous sundews, flowering orchids, and marsh cranberries.

The Dominik Oak is an impressive, over 300-year-old pedunculate oak, after which the path in the Poleski National Park that you are walking along is named after. The oak was named in honor of prof. Dr. hab. Dominik Fijałkowski, who has been creating reserves in Polesie for years. The path is very easy, perfect for walking with little ones, but it can be crowded on weekends. Remember that entry to the path is subject to a fee, you can buy a ticket at the Educational and Administrative Center and the Educational and Museum Center, as well as via the eParki.pl platform at https://poleskipn.eparki.pl/.

One of many amenities prepared by the Polesie National Park on the "Czahara" educational route for visitors. From the observation tower you will be able to see Bagno Bubnów from above. Along the route, you will also have the opportunity to use tourist shelters to have a snack in the bosom of nature and wooden viewing platforms.

Another viewing platform with a comfortable footbridge, thanks to which you can enter even with a stroller. Remember to stay quiet as you enjoy this wonderful natural spot and observe its inhabitants.

The "Czahary" educational trail is a great proposition of the Poleski National Park to learn the secrets of the tracks and visit the largest peat bog of the Park: Bagno Bubnów. The route is approximately 6.5 kilometers long and starts in the town of Zastawie at the observation tower. You can leave your car there, but if you are traveling with a disabled person, there is also another parking lot available, right next to the place where the footbridges begin. The paths are adapted for wheelchairs and strollers. If you don't feel up to it, the route can be shortened by about 1.5 kilometers (alternative route), but I sincerely recommend walking the entire route, bird watching (cranes, birds with the coat of arms of the Polesie National Park love this place) and relaxing in this charming environment .
