Another great place in the Dry Mountains in the Sudetes. The magnificent ruins of a 13th-century castle on Rogowiec Hill, rising 870 meters above sea level. This castle, along with the fortresses of Radosno, Grodno, and Nowy Dwór, was one of the defensive castles on the Czech border. The views from above are incredible (those sunsets, you know why you live). Lean against the walls and admire the view.

The "Włodarz" complex is the largest accessible section of the Riese underground project in the Owl Mountains, hidden on the slopes of Włodarz Mountain between Jugowice, Walim, and Sierpnica. The tour leads through tunnels, guardhouses, and flooded halls—part of the route is covered by pontoon—and above ground you'll see the remains of the AL Wolfsberg camp and construction facilities. There's a small museum and ticket office on site; it's best to schedule a guided tour.

From the lookout point and castle, there's a pretty nice single-track-style bike trail. A great MTB route.

I recommend the ascent from the Czech side, as the border trail from the Polish side is physically impossible by bike.

A huge system of concrete corridors, fortifications and halls. The purpose of the works was kept secret. According to some, it was supposed to be Adolf Hitler's secret headquarters. Others claim that halls were built for underground armament factories to produce secret weapons. The complex is currently open to the public. On free weekends, you can meet crowds of people there. Tickets can be purchased in the parking lot, 300 meters south of the entrance and 500 meters from the exit.
