The church was built on the initiative of the Association for Church Building under the leadership of Pastor Richard Günter from Arnsdorf/Mitkow/. The consecration of the church took place on 13.09.1908. The celebrations were led by General Superintendent D. Haupt. The church was built by believers of the Evangelical Augsburg Confession. It only came into the possession of the Roman Catholic Church after World War II and has since been called the "Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus". Currently, the church functions as an auxiliary church of the Parish of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Karpacz. In the years 1990-1996, the church underwent a fundamental restoration. Further renovation and maintenance measures took place in the period 2007-2008. On 13.09.2008, the church's consecration was celebrated for the 100th time. The anniversary celebrations were organized by the following parishes: the Roman Catholic Parish of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Evangelical Augsburg Parish of Wang.
