Route is easy to follow, but steep and tricky at the end. More of an intermediate hike than easy. Especially if you continue after the Mass Rock, which has a sign that the trails ends there. But beautiful hike and totally worth it nonetheless!

Drumlish is a village in County Longford. It's the centre of local goings on with a range of shops and a couple of pubs as well as a Garda Station and fuel station. The North Longford Rebel Trail goes through the village.

The North Longford Rebel Trail is a community-led, multi-user path which safely connects the villages of Drumlish, Monaduff, and Ballinamuck. Much of the trail runs close to but separate from the busy R198. The trail is either tarmac or fine gravel and suitable for many wheelchairs and pushchairs as well as bikes, walkers and runners.
