The lake is populated with bass, catfish, and trout, and is a local favorite for kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding. If you're here in the morning, it’s a great spot to watch the sunrise.

This is a very nice local pond. The northwest parking area for the pond leads to a small trail system via Blackridge Trail. There are several packed, singletrack trails in this system with varying degrees of difficulty so you can choose your own adventure.
