From the parking here at Silas Condict County Park you'll find a number of trails that run around the lake that you can cycle on. There are picnic benches here if you'd like to take a break.

Mountainside Park in Pequannock offers multiple hiking trails through beautiful nature. The trails lead through forest, along boulders and over wooden boardwalks. As you can combine the trails in the area however you want, it's up to you how long your hike should be.

From the highest point in Mountainside Park, you will get a great panoramic view over Northern New Jersey. If the sky is clear, you might even see the New York City Skyline in the far distance. There are some benches at the top to take a little rest and enjoy the vistas.

Butler Reservoir is located north of Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area and features a trail surrounding the reservoir (Blue Trail). The reservoir is surrounded by nice forest and while hiking around it, you will find yourself in beautiful nature.

Taylortown Reservoir is a public water supply system, owned by the town of Boonton. Its beautiful surrounding nature and the Orange Trail leading along the western side of the reservoir, make it a nice spot to visit in Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area.

Located along Blue Dot Trail, Tripod Rock is one of many natural features in Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area. The boulder weighs 180 tons and is balanced on top of three smaller boulders. The rock formation exists since over 18,000 years and was deposited by the Wisconsin Glacier.
