Lake Maggiore is a large reservoir just off the side of the Lakeside Trail in the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. There are a lot of different spots where you can get a view of the water. If you really want to check out the water up close, Dell Holmes Park on the northern side of the reservoir has a dock and small pier you can walk out on.
