From this spot down a short spur trail off of the Dillion RecPath, you get a great view of Sentinel Island in the Dillon Reservoir. This is a lovely, short detour and a nice spot to snap some photos and eat a snack before continuing on your ride.

A short, easy trail circles around Old Dillon Reservoir, which used to supply water to the entire town of Frisco before the larger Dillon Lake Reservoir was deemed necessary. You get views of both the old and new reservoir from Old Dillon Reservoir. The path going around the water is smooth dirt without any hills.

A small alpine lake in a meadow, Lily Pad Lake is tucked away in the Eagles Nest Wilderness and sees much less traffic than the lake trails in downtown Silverthorne and Frisco. This lake can be accessed via several different wilderness trails. When it's warm enough outside, you can actually swim in the lake, so dress appropriately!
