October 23, 2025, Panhandle 🚴 bike path

Is a good pathway if you catch the right time of the day otherwise it's filled with pedestrians, the pedestrians have their own south side of the panhandle to walk on but there's just as many on the north side. As they are walking arm to arm two, three abreast and baby strollers is challenging at times especially on work commutes not so much in the morning but be vigilant in the afternoon & evenings.

Recreational boat slips on the bay along the prestigious downtown waterfront. Outdoor sculptures grace the adjacent lawn. The red sculpture "Sea Change" by famous artist Mark di Suvero, is a triangular steel, 70 feet high and weighs 10 tons. The circular top moves in the wind as an elegant, kinetic sculpture sitting at the gateway to the South Beach waterfront. Installed in 1995. There are restrooms along the promenade.

We waited for two hours, even though only one train was partially occupied and the others were empty. We decided not to take it.
