You can also drive over here and then drive into Kassel via Spiekershausen and Niestetal-Sandershausen, where you arrive at the harbor bridge and then get back onto the Fulda cycle path on the other side. For me as a Kassel resident who hasn't lived there for 35 years, it's always a nice alternative. 🖐️🚴🏽♂️

🤚A beautiful view that always makes you want to stop and take a photo, even if you've taken this photo a hundred times. But to describe the place, Spiekershausen, as sleepy is something that is not only to be disliked by the former and long-standing mayor I know. Isn't that right, H.?😎😉🤣 And if you want to judge this for yourself, like I sometimes do, just take the Wahnhausen barrage from HMÜ, drive into the town and take the cycle path via Niestetal-Sandershausen in Kassel back to the Fulda cycle path, or vice versa from Kassel. A beautiful and worthwhile alternative away from the fast cycle path. 🚴♀️🖐
