Built in 1917, this hangar located on the south shore of Wingfoot Lake is one of the world’s oldest active airship bases and the birthplace of Goodyear’s blimp fleet. The first class of airship pilots for the US Navy trained here, and this site played key roles in both World Wars. Individual tours aren't availible for walk-ins, but group visits and tours can be arranged in advance through Goodyear.
