Free parking and starting point for hiking the Three Sisters of Glencoe loop

The waterfall isn't far from the Grey Mare's Tail Waterfall parking lot, and the trail is manageable. However, the climb to the summit isn't "easy." It requires good fitness and absolute surefootedness. The trail is full of scree and can only be negotiated with short scrambles here and there. I'm 46 and generally fit. However, after the descent, I can definitely feel my back and knees hurting. Personally, I would classify the circular trail as "moderately difficult."

February 23, 2025, View of Glen Coe

Visited Glencoe in autumn. Despite the cloudy and cold weather encountered, the landscape won't disappoint your expectations. While hiking, due to the wind, i was able to hear a group of bagpipers playing near the parking spot, it was magic!

The first climb of Kinlochleven is very demanding, but the views back to Loch Leven totally compensate.

The hiking car park is a good starting point for activities in one of the side valleys. From here you also have an ideal view of the “Three Sisters”. If you're driving through the magnificent Clencoe, stop here and take in the scenery.
