"This farmhouse may have been a typical agricultural residence and it seems to have undergone various vicissitudes over the centuries. During the period of the agrarian reform, part of its land was redistributed, while in more recent times it has seen progressive abandonment and degradation. The name "Burned" could derive from war events or fires that damaged its structure in the past. This small village nestled in the Lucretili mountains gives its name to the most famous lagustelli, which are located to the south of the town. Percile is also included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Like most of the villages in Lazio, Percile also has a thousand-year history that begins in Roman times (the name probably derives from a noble Roman family, Porcia) and continues through papacies and families, such as that of the Orsini family, for reach us.

This source of very fresh water is located near the village and can be reached by following a short stretch of the Coleman Trail. Right next to the stream there is a sculpture dedicated to the Cinetesi women (of Cineto Romano) who with their work have left a mark in the history of the town.
