Nestled 715 meters above sea level, Marignana is an authentic little mountain village. It is surrounded by dense vegetation representative of the Corsican flora. On a clear day, it is possible to observe the sea in the distance.

The Sevi Pass with an altitude of 1,100 meters is a pleasure to climb or descend. Whether you approach it from the sea side (Sagonne), or the land side (Evisa) it is a real treat. There are always animals like pigs, cows, and sometimes horses at the top. This must come from the fact that the people who stop at the pass too often feed the animals. Be careful on the descents not to hit one of them.

Easy to drive from both sides, from Christinacce less steep than from Vico thanks to the serpentines. Currently without a passport plate despite its impressive height, has it become a victim of the Corsican separatists?

Great vantage point with a view of the Spelunca Gorge to its end (Porto). With orientation board on which the mountains to be seen are named. It is also often driven to by coaches.

Nice little restaurant at the entrance to Evisa. There were good fries, delicious toast with salad and cake with fruit from our own garden... Terrace with a wonderful view.

On the way up or down from or to the Col de Vergio, you can fill up with water or get some food here. Of course, the village is also located in the magnificent landscape above the Gorges de Spelunca, across which you can see as far as the Golfe de Porto.
