The current castle is a well-preserved cultural site famous for its role in 17th-century conflicts, with bullet holes still visible in its gate tower. On the hiking trail around Lake Finjasjön, you'll repeatedly come across small sandy beaches, like this one. In the summer months, they're also used as swimming spots.

Next to the beach there is a beautiful, flat meadow with plenty of space for tents. Because it is on the main road it is not really quiet, but it is OK for an overnight stay. There is a toilet with a water tap on the beach.

Beach with a large parking lot along the road. At the north end of the beach (on the right-hand side when viewed from the road) there is a beautifully mown, fenced-off lawn that is perfect for camping. Whether this is officially intended remains to be seen. At least nobody has anything against it, although someone who was apparently in charge was briefly on site during my stay.
