The manor house is surrounded by a deep moat and a historic park with ancient, monumental trees, including common ash, black alder, and English oak. The manor house was formerly protected by four small corner bastions and earthen fortifications. A bridge, formerly adorned with Classicist sculptures, led to the manor house. A beautiful 16th-century church remains on the opposite side of the street.

Henryka Ankwiczówna, also known as Henrietta, was Adam Mickiewicz's beloved and lived in a Renaissance manor house in Graboszyce, built around 1575 by her future husband, Stanisław Sołtyk, who renovated the estate after the death of her first husband, Count Kazimierz. Mickiewicz's relationship with Henryka Ankwiczówna began in 1829 in Rome, where she came from a wealthy countess family, and Adam Mickiewicz, who had emigrated, was already a renowned poet. The Ankwicz family did not support their union due to Mickiewicz's lack of wealth and low social status, which limited their meetings. In the spring of 1831, Mickiewicz left Rome, and their last meeting took place when Henryka was married to Stanisław Sołtyk in 1836, after which she lived in Graboszyce. The manor house in Graboszyce, dating from 1570–1580, was originally built by Dionizy Brandys, royal secretary to Sigismund Augustus, Henry of Valois, and Stephen Báthory, and its cellars date back to the late 15th century. Currently, the manor house, which had been in ruins for many years, was acquired in 2014 by Franciszek Fryc, who began a comprehensive renovation, including replacing the roof and repairing the walls. In 2017, he completed the renovation of the façade.
