Located in the heart of the old town of Dosrius, this church has a much more curious history than it appears. Although the current building was constructed from 1526, a temple already existed in this location during the Middle Ages. One of its most surprising stories occurred during the Civil War. The church was looted, its altars destroyed, and the building converted into a warehouse for grain, seeds, and straw. A magnificent 16th-century Renaissance altarpiece was lost, but the curious thing is that, many years later, researchers managed to identify seven original paintings that had survived. Four are preserved in the Mataró Museum and three in the church itself. There are more curiosities: formerly, families could pay to have their own pew inside the church. And above the vaults, there is a space known as "the owls' room," where an old manual mechanism for raising and lowering the central lamp is still preserved. If you can go inside, also look at the floor: there is a funerary tombstone from 1776 belonging to the Vallmajor family, one of the most important in the town.

Climbing from the Pou de Glaç de Canyamars towards the Creu de Rupit, pay attention to your left. Next to Can Sabé, they have created a curious little open-air rural museum, placing old machines, tools, and other objects related to farm work along the path. It's not an official museum, but one of those peculiar spots that surprise you when you're cycling through the woods. And the setting couldn't be more appropriate: Can Sabé is a farmhouse with over four centuries of history. It is documented as early as 1570 and for centuries was linked to Can Galzeran, one of the great historical estates of Canyamars. Here lived and worked day laborers and young men dedicated to agricultural tasks. In the 20th century, it was divided into two dwellings and later reformed as a convalescent center. Today it is used for rural tourism. A small stop along the way where the old machines fit perfectly with the more than 450 years of history of Can Sabé.

One of those places where it's worth slowing down a bit and looking around. Towering trees, dense forest, and a light that, when it filters through the canopy, makes this stretch spectacular. In summer, the shade is also greatly appreciated. And you're in Vallgorguina, land of forests, dolmens, and old witch stories. Very close by, in Pedra Gentil, tradition says that covens and witch gatherings were held. I don't know if any remain, but if you pass through here with this light, you perfectly understand why so many legends were born in these woods. A beautiful stretch to enjoy by bike without rushing.

The entire promenade at Platja del Callao is designated as a public beach area and offers benches, shaded spots, and free relaxation areas. Additionally, there is a public toilet on the beach section. Everywhere you look, you'll see the mega cute, small monk parakeets. This is a naturalized parrot species. You see them very often in and around Barcelona, in parks, avenues, and beach promenades. For locals, they are a nuisance, but for tourists, the lively, green splashes of color are very cute to observe.
