I would not recommend following this trail. The climb to Tambone from the Passo dell'Obelisco is historically off limits even for the strongest bikers, the Sira (from Procchio to the GTE) has deteriorated a lot and requires super technical ability. The descent from Monte Fonza however contains in itself the reasons why many bikers come to Elba. Traveling in the mountains with the sea below. A beautiful vertigo.
