Not 100% suitable for road bikes, it's partly gravel and badly connected with the road

This is a beautiful cycle path, partly through small forests and along the immediate bank of the Toce (watch out: there is a brutal embankment towards the river); excellently suited for gravel

There are blocks at the entrance and exit of the bridge - in theory to prevent mopeds from passing. Result: it is complicated to pass with bikes loaded with luggage, with a trailer or with three-wheeled bikes :-/

Yes, we also had easy access to the campsite, but unfortunately, we had to take a detour through the main entrance to get out. We only wanted to hike along the lake.

A grueling climb, and the view from the Torre was disappointing! Lots of mosquitoes! The tour is anything but easy!

The path leads past Lake Mergozzo, with its destination, Mergozzo, a place that will surely awaken joy. Nature and stone in fine harmony – come with us, the path invites you. At Montorfano, proud and grand, granite was formed here – ancient, magnificent. Crystals sparkle, white and black, a stone with primeval resin. For centuries, stone has been quarried, as far as Rome and Milan, it bore its radiance. A hiking trail with views and splendor, tells you of the power of the rock.
