Marcus Larsson
May 24, 2026, Clear-Felled Trail Segment in Tyresta Nature Reserve

As of May 2026 this trail is functionally nonexistent. Large parts of it has been completely destroyed by forestry and the newly grown trees almost completely block whatever path once existed. Definitely do not recommend with any kind of bike, or even on foot.

Impressive mix of golden statues and entry in contrast with the faces carved in the stone.

Keep an eye out for the Highland cattle grazing in Västra Järvafältet’s open meadows. These gentle, long-haired cows play an important role in preserving the reserve’s cultural landscape.

A lovely viewpoint overlooking Lake Råstasjön with Solna’s skyline beyond. Nature and city in perfect balance.

We went this hard segment in May 2025, definitely don't recommend. Even with Mountainbike you would need to carry your bike. The path has been completely destroyed due to the tree cutting + lots of nasty small bugs when clearing through the very narrow bushes.

Beautiful facade of the building, stylish lanterns.
