Schönecken Castle is the ruin of a hilltop castle at 467 m above sea level above the municipality of the same name, Schönecken, in the Nimstal in the western Eifel (Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm) in Rhineland-Palatinate. The castle stood on the lowest ridge in the middle of a valley. The complex is protected by higher mountains on all sides. The Schönecken castle ruins are also called "Bella Costa" or "Clara Costa". On a meadow (main street) there is an oversized seesaw on a 7 meter high mast: on one side is the body of an old VW Beetle, on the other side its engine and gearbox. The wind drives both gently rocking around in circles. And has been doing so since 2008. As part of an international sculpture exhibition by "Artemedia", the metal sculptor Herbert Kruft (his sculpture park in Niederprüm is always worth a visit!) installed the flying beetle at the entrance to Buchet. And there it still spins in the wind today, visible from afar, and causes astonished faces.

The former train station in Arzfeld was built in 1907. The monument zone with the address Zum Bahnhof 2 is a protected cultural monument. The decommissioned train station of the Enztalbahn has been preserved in rare completeness. In addition to the station buildings, there is also a single-family house for railway employees and a wooden goods shed. The rural appearance of the buildings is characteristic of railway buildings from the early 20th century.
