June 19, 2026, Riverside Trail Along the Weißach Below Gernbergkopf

There are paths up to the Schwarzentennalm – one along the Weißach and one through the higher forest path. I would recommend the latter for the ascent, as it is easier to ride, especially for those who are not so experienced. Down along the Weißach – wonderful. Watch out for the gravel. It crumbles easily.

For me, the Innpromenade in Rattenberg is always a highlight: it brings a bit of Italian flair every time and the view of the flowing water lets your thoughts wander into the distance.

The Reintalersee in Alpbachtal is one of the warmest swimming lakes in Tyrol and a perfect destination for a relaxed tour. The circular path leads around the lake and is suitable for a leisurely bike ride. Along the way, there are beautiful views of the water and the surrounding mountains – also perfect for a swimming break in the summer.

Not a bad spot for camping; there are toilets in the campervan area right next door. The water there is "not drinkable." It's charming, with a small table. Quite a few walkers and cyclists use the small path.
