Just before entering Radenthein, right next to the bike path, you'll find a newly created rest area for cyclists with seating and a bike repair station by the Riegerbach stream. But be careful: you can only get past this rest area by taking the gravel path south of the road. Those taking the bike path to the north will first have to cycle into Radenthein and then turn around briefly – not a problem, and, above all, it's not far. A highly recommended spot for a long rest.

The south bank path leads over finely gravelled ground. The path winds along in pleasant shade. There are a few short, steep climbs, some with gradients approaching 12%. Overall, it's worth the detour.
