The Bismarck Tower is located on a steep slope between Schoden and Ockfen on the Moselsteig side path Saar-Riesling-Steig. From here you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the Saar Valley, Schoden, Biebelhausen and the Ayler Kupp vineyard.

Nice view. Not clear how old the tower is, of what its function was. Very nice still

Very rarely that the waterfall has water there. It is probably an overflow basin from the overlying body of water.

The somewhat less known, but no less beautiful Saar loop. Fantastic view of the Saar from the hang glider ramp. It can be reached, for example, from Serrig (either directly from the village or from the Prallertsweg, then you can combine it with a circular tour by walking back to the vantage point via the Lunkertbach and Angelweiher), from the Serrig forest or also, but then connected with a longer hike from Taben-Rodt.
