The Indian Cave is a must see. However, be aware that the trail leading to the cave requires you to dismount your bike for a few hundred feet.

If you're fortunate enough to catch the right weather conditions, the views from Lynnmere Trail across the park and open spaces will make you feel like you have been transported into another land. Starting out early is your best chance - if you do this you will also avoid too much human company, if you like it quiet! Keep in mind there isn't much in the way of shade if you're hiking later in the day.

The Lynnmere Open Space covers an area of about 114 acres. It features coastal sage scrub-covered slopes, with the Lynnmere Trail following along the ridge lines. You may spot deer and other wildlife that move freely between this and Wildwood open space areas.

The Indian Cave and Indian Cave Trail were renamed Little Cave as it was unclear if the cave was naturally formed and/or historically used by Native Americans. Irregardless of the political correctness, this cave is a great destination for kids and geology buffs alike!
