Ladenburg was once founded as the Roman settlement Lopodunum, making it one of the oldest cities in Germany. In the old town center, half-timbered houses from various centuries, remains of the medieval city wall, and the imposing Bischofshof ensemble meet. Those looking for a coffee after the tour will find what they need in the small cafés around the market square.

Here you can watch wild boars. It is especially cute when they have young.

The Kronenburg Trail is the flowing section of the Steinbrecher Trails and definitely a highlight! Everything runs smoothly here - the trail runs smoothly through the forest and offers small jumps that are perfectly integrated into the flow. You can really pick up speed and let yourself be carried through the curves without much effort. A few small kickers make the section varied, but without disrupting the flow. Ideal for anyone who just wants to go through it in a really relaxed way - the mix of flow and fun is just right here!

The Weißer Stein Trail - a really great route! Newly built and really just for mountain bikers, with no hikers on the trail. I would hardly have expected that such a trail would be built here in Baden-Württemberg, but all the better! After the climb you can take a short break at the restaurant or at the small observation tower (bringing your own food is fine), and then you're off. Right at the start there is a jump, followed by a few beautifully shaped berms and smaller kickers. Then it goes down into a depression with big wallrides and really decent kickers. You have to pick up the pace and push the pedals hard to take the jumps well. The flow is great, and a real highlight for adrenaline junkies - simply well done!

For me, the Lore is really the highlight of the Steinbrecher Trails. This section has a completely different feel to the rest - a river that gently meanders along and the natural 'stone bridges' that you drive over create a beautiful, almost enchanted atmosphere. It is relatively flat, with a few small kickers here and there, but that is not the point. The Lore lives from the forest and nature flair that completely tears you away from everyday life and makes this part of the trail unique.
