The Bruce Trail is Canada's oldest marked footpath, stretching about 900 kilometers along the picturesque Niagara Escarpment. This southern terminus is in Queenston. If a thru hiker starts here, they will continue north to Tobermory at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula.

A very historic site with a direct connection to American history. The guides were knowledgeable and easy to reach if you had any questions! The introductory video is a must-see to understand the fort and the historical significance of its position during the war.

This is a must-see for any history buff! We spent several hours walking around the grounds, taking it all in. The visitor center has some lovely items for sale and a very informative 15-minute film. While you're in the park, don't miss the old cemetery right next to the fort and the old lighthouse. Both are also amazing.

It's a huge and beautiful park full of wildlife. We saw foxes, deer, geese, and even rare birds. There's a playground and a Frisbee golf course. There used to be a huge selection of pools and a large concession stand there. These buildings have been closed for years, but apparently renovations are underway. It's a shame more people don't know about this great park.

It's primarily a giant Frisbee golf course, and there's a lot of construction going on at the moment. Overall, I'd say it's still wonderful to lie on grass, as there's almost always a pleasant breeze.

Trail right next to the park. A lovely little park with a forest atmosphere. There was a large playground and the baseball diamonds were well-maintained.

From here, you can enjoy a lovely walk along the river. You can watch the rapids and the waves, and there are some cool informational signs with interesting facts. The path isn't very long, but it leads along a wooden walkway that's always stable and offers good views. You take an elevator down to the beginning of the path. I think this path is perfect for all ages. While you're there, you can experience something wonderful for a few dollars.
