Beautiful park with great views of the river and historical sites throughout. Lots to see. We were there on Juneteenth and while it was busy, it wasn't overwhelming. Unfortunately the museum was closed during our visit, but you can still see outdoor exhibits, see the outlines of the two forts that once stood on this site, and enjoy the fountain and the view.
