I later saw that part 1 isn't entirely accurate, as there's a trail before it. I have no idea if it's also accessible by mountain bike. This section, however, is very well-ridden, and I definitely recommend it if you don't want to ride down the easy forest road.

Section 2 of this amazing, but sometimes challenging, singletrack trail. Definitely an experience and much nicer than the forest road. I don't know whether this trail is open to hikers AND cyclists. I rode the singletrack downhill and would only recommend it downhill.
