The west coast of Naxos is a wonderfully relaxing place to cycle. from the capital Chora it goes south. You should take the Stelida peninsula with you to climb a few meters. Then further south through Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna - most of the time right along the beach. at some point it is time to look back at this magnificent and seemingly endless beach. Recommendation: definitely experience the sunset on the beach.

Hotel ruin from the 70s near Aliko. The hotel was built without a permit and an example was to be made here and the construction work had to be stopped. There are various stories about the ruin on the Internet. The remains can be seen here today and the ruins are a kind of open-air gallery of street artists, such as the Indonesian artist "Wild Drawing" (WD) or the Greek artist "Skitsofrenis".

A small family business that has been producing the Kítron since 1896. Kítron is a liqueur made exclusively in the Cyclades. It is made from the leaves of the cedar tree. In terms of taste, it can be classified roughly like a limoncello, but it has its own taste. It is available in three types: green, very sweet with 30% alcohol, less sweet than clear Kítron with 33% alcohol and yellow with 36% alcohol.

One of the best preserved early Christian churches from the 6th century. The wall paintings are significant, since they were created before the so-called Byzantine picture controversy, which said that portraits of God, Christ and the saints are prohibited. The portraits from the 8th-9th Century were painted over, but could gradually be uncovered again.
